FIRE HYDRANT REPLACEMENT NOTICE
The City of Leeton Public Works Department will be replacing a fire hydrant at the corner of North Wall Street and East Fewel Street.
WHEN: Thursday, August 27, 2026
LOCATION: Corner of North Wall St. & East Fewel St.
Prep work will begin during the day, with the hydrant replacement beginning in the late evening hours. Our Public Works crew is planning the replacement around the average family dinner time to help minimize disruption to residents.
WHAT RESIDENTS MAY NOTICE
Customers within approximately one to two blocks of the hydrant location may temporarily experience:
- Lower Water Pressure
- Cloudy Water
- Discolored Water
The water remains safe to consume.
If conditions change and there is any concern that the water may be unsafe, the City will issue a notice and provide updates on the City of Leeton Facebook page.
