How can I find out more information about library services?

Please visit the Trails Library website for more information about services, library cards and current hours of operation. 

City Hall

When is City Hall Open?

City Hall is open Monday - Thursday 9AM - 2PM. 

Trash & Recycling

May I burn trash and leaves inside the city limits?

The burning of trash is never allowed inside city limits at any time. Burning of yard waste (limbs, leaves, etc.) is allowed on Wednesday and Saturdays from sunrise to sunset. Violators may be subject to citation and fine. 

Water & Sewer Utilities

Can I pay my bill online?

Yes! You can pay your bill and view your account history, usage and current bill by setting up your online account. Click here for details. 

How could I have used this much water?

You could possibly have a leaky toilet or faucet that's difficult to detect. Check to be sure all toilets and faucets are in good working order. If you suspect a leak, contact us and we will send a technician to read your meter to determine any possible leak. 

My bill is past due can I get an extension?

No. Board policy does rarely allow extensions for customers with a long history of paying on time. Please contact the city clerk to inquire about this. 

Why do I have a previous balance when I know I sent in my payment?

We may have received it after the due date or we may not have received it at all. Call our office and we will help you solve the problem.

Where do I go to vote?

All elections are conducted by the Johnson County Clerk. For information regarding elections, to register to vote or change your address, or for other information about elections, contact the Johnson County Clerk's Office at 660-747-6161 or online at http://jococourthouse.com/county_clerk.html.
