Solid Waste Disposal
Solid waste collection is currently the responsibility of the homeowner or renter. The City of Leeton does not manage solid waste collection. Companies commonly used by residents in the community is J&S Trash Service (660-563-1923), RAD Disposal (660-851-3435), Republic Trash Service (660-429-1040).
Recycling
Recycling is provided in large bins in the parking lot of the Leeton School. Here, residents may drop off their paper, cardboard, plastic and tin (aluminum) recycling for collection. This program is provided via a grant of the Region F Solid Waste District of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.

May I burn trash and leaves inside the city limits?
The burning of trash is never allowed inside city limits at any time. Burning of yard waste (limbs, leaves, etc.) is allowed on Wednesday and Saturdays from sunrise to sunset. Violators may be subject to citation and fine.
