City Hall will be Closed tomorrow, Thursday, March 27th, 2025.

April News

April 2nd - City Hall Hours will be 9am -1pm. 

The City of Leeton annual audit will be April 7th-9th.  

April 8th - General Municipal Election

April 10th - Board of Aldermen Meeting, 6pm. Utility Bills Due.

April 23rd - SOS Luncheon, 11:15am.

Easter in the Park Event will be Saturday, April 19th at 10am.  Come visit the Easter Bunny and enjoy the egg hunt!

Lead Service Line Inventory Project

All Clear Pumping & Sewer is still in the process of finishing up the Lead Service Line Inventory Project.  They will be making contact with customers to visually inspect the line coming into your residence. If you still have sink hole next to your water meter, please contact All Clear Pumping & Sewer at 573-338-4212.  

Inspection Options:

1. Visual Inspection by Contractor 

  • All Clear Pumping & Sewer can inspect the service line where it enters the premises
  • If the line is copper, a 10-minute lead solder test will be conducted

2. Customer-Provided Information - $5 Credit on your Utility Bill

  • Customers can identify the material (e.g. copper, PVC, PEX)  e-mail photo to cityofleeton@gmail.com
  • To receive the $5.00 credit on your utility bill the e-mail must include the photo, name and address
  • If copper, an on-site lead test will still be required

Water System Improvement Project

Upgrades to the water system are still underway, the next phase will begin in April with a scheduled completion date of December 20, 2025. 

Water Rate Structure Ordinance 501 goes into effect on May 1st.  The new rate will reflect on the bill mailed out in May with the due date of June 10th. 

$20.00 for the first 1,000 gallons minimum and $11.97 per thousand gallons thereafter.  

Dog and Cat Licenses are due by June 1st, 2025.  Please make sure you have $10 (cash or check) per animal and rabies vaccination records with application.  Tags can not be given out without payment or a copy of the rabies vaccination records. 

City Hall will be closed May 16th - May 27th.  Please pay water bills on-line or in the drop box at the front of the Community Building. The City Hall will re-open on Wednesday, May 28th at 9am.
