10th - Utility Bills Due

12th - Board of Aldermen Meeting, 6pm

20tth - 21st City Hall Closed for MRWA Clerk Conference

25th - Memorial Day - City Clerk's Office and Public Works Department Closed

27th - SOS Luncheon, 11:15am 

30th - City-Wide Cleanup.  Have your items out at the curb no later than 6:00a.m.

City-Wide Cleanup. There will be NO dumpsters at the City Maintenance Buildings this year. Curbside Pickup ONLY for those that live in the City Limits. NO Exceptions for not having your items at the curb by 6:00 a.m. 

PROHIBITED ITEMS:  Tires, Yard Waste, Batteries, Appliances, Water Heaters, Air Conditioners, Dishwashers, Furnaces, Liquid Waste, Hazardous Waste, Infectious Waste, and Toxic Material.

Yard Waste: Limbs, Grass Clippings, and Leaves may be disposed of across from the wastewater treatment plant south of town.  NO trash, plastic bags, or items other than yard waste are allowed at this site.  The site is locked; a key can be checked out at the City Hall with a deposit of $20, which will be returned to you when the key is returned. 

Dog/Cat Licenses and Hen/Pullet Permits are due by June 1st. 

Dog/Cat Licenses: Completed Application, Copy of current rabies vaccination, $10 per animal fee (cash or check).  THREE or more dogs require a City Kennel License: Kennel License Application and $10 (cash or check). 

Hen/Pullet Permits:  Renewal application and $10 fee (cash or check).
